Every detail counts
Four contemporary ecolodges at opening, nine in total, all unique and nestled like hunting blinds at the forest’s edge. Designed by Studio Arch, they embody a minimalist Nordic aesthetic: clean lines, light wood, large picture windows framing Mont Blanc, a pellet stove for heat, and a private traditional sauna for cleansing and relaxation. Every detail has been carefully considered: cellulose insulation, spring water heated by the fire, separation-type dry toilets, and energy efficiency. Nothing is ostentatious. Everything is essential; everything is just right.
You come here as if you were returning home after a day out. The silence, the low-angled light falling on the larch trees, a cup of herbal tea, a book, the sauna gradually heating up. Meals are made with local ingredients, prepared with care. The drinks are natural. And when night falls, the large picture window becomes a movie screen: the stars above Mont Blanc, a few distant lights in the valley.
