There’s a type of glamping in the Alps that doesn’t try to mimic a hotel. The Stüga Skybox is one such example. It’s a minimalist, unique wooden cabin set against the backdrop of the Tarentaise and Mont Blanc landscapes.

What makes this skybox unique? When night falls, you pull the bed out. You lie down. You look up. And the night sky does the rest. You’re treated to a mountain sky, far from any light pollution, with stars unlike any you’ll see anywhere else.

A minimalist wooden shelter measuring 5 m²

A minimalist wooden cabin, designed for the essentials: sleeping, breathing, and contemplating. Five square meters are enough when the sky is your ceiling.

A double mattress and a comforter

A soft double mattress and a warm comforter for nights as gentle as the wilderness around you.

A "camping kit"

Everything you need for outdoor cooking is right at your fingertips: a stove, utensils, and dishes. All that's missing are the ingredients.

Two outdoor chairs and a small table

Two armchairs and a table for enjoying coffee at sunrise or watching the stars come out at night.

No electricity

Our skyboxes do not have electrical outlets. Be sure to bring your own batteries to ensure a stress-free stay.

Only one pet allowed

Pets are welcome, limited to one per skybox.

Car parking 200 meters away

Carts are available to transport your luggage to your skybox and help you with this task.

After a good night's sleep, no matter what time of the morning it is, it's such a pleasure to know that a delicious breakfast is waiting for you: mountain bread, cake, fruit juice, cheese, cereal, fruit compote…
